Matt's PDF Suite was built with a single mission: to make PDF manipulation simple, free, and, most importantly, secure.
The Privacy Problem
We noticed a concerning trend with online PDF tools. To merge or split a document, most websites ask you to upload your file to their server. Once your file leaves your computer, you lose control over who sees it or how long it is stored.
For sensitive documents—like contracts, financial records, or personal identification—uploading to an unknown server is a security risk many people aren't willing to take.
The Solution: Client-Side Processing
We took a different approach. Instead of moving your file to our tools, we moved our tools to your file.
Matt's PDF Suite uses advanced browser technologies (like WebAssembly) to process your documents strictly inside your web browser. This means your files are never uploaded to our servers. The processing happens locally on your own device, ensuring your data remains 100% private.
Our Tools
We are constantly expanding our suite of utilities. Currently, we offer:
- Redaction: Permanently remove sensitive text and images.
- Merge: Combine multiple PDFs into a single document.
- Split: Extract specific pages or separate a document into parts.
- Security: Add watermarks or remove passwords (if you own the file).
Why is it Free?
We believe essential digital tools should be accessible to everyone. To keep the lights on and the development going, we use unobtrusive advertisements (Google AdSense). This allows us to offer premium-level privacy and functionality without charging a subscription fee.
